Dubai-based boutique developer Zimaya Properties has launched its fifth residential project, Lawncrest, in Dubai Production City. The Dh185 million development comprises 183 studio, one- and two-bedroom apartments across a ten-storey building. studio units start from Dh595,000, and nearly half of the units sold out within the first three weeks of launch. A key selling point is the project's direct views over the greens of Jumeirah Golf Estates, setting it apart from other mid-market developments in the area.

Zimaya has partnered with Teka for kitchen appliances and Technogym for fitness amenities across the building. The company says its management team brings more than 30 years of combined real estate experience, and that its four previous projects have all sold out. Another Zimaya development, Belle Reve in Jumeirah Village Circle, is expected to be completed by the end of this year.

The launch comes as Dubai's housing market continues to see a steady stream of new projects from small and mid-sized developers, with the pace of sales at Lawncrest suggesting continued strong demand for affordable units in the city's emerging residential districts. Dubai Production City has increasingly become a hub for mid-priced housing development in recent years.
